My work is inspired by the chaos of the universe and the diversity of human emotion. While my vision for most works is organic in nature, my high standards for technical execution and functionality are always at the forefront. On a continual basis I strive to create pieces that evoke excitement, convey movement, achieve balance, and stand apart.
I specialize in functional glassware vessels and sculpture for home décor, lighting, and architectural installations. My work is installed in private collections and adorns homes throughout the region.
As the Principal Artist and Education Director at Wired Designs Studio, Inc., my studio team and I teach over thirty different workshops in hot, warm, and cold glass, metalsmithing, mixed media and design.
I am currently an adjunct faculty member at the Southwest School of Art and Craft in San Antonio, and am a visiting instructor at the Pittsburgh Glass Center. Throughout the year I teach at other glass education venues and private studios throughout the United States. My addiction to glass as an artistic medium has spread to my students, and there is no cure.
