My work is inspired by the explosive energy of the physical world and the diversity and contradiction of our emotional world. While my vision for most works is organic in nature, my high standards for technical execution and functionality are always at the forefront. With a focus on kiln formed glass vessels, sculpture, lighting, and personal adornments, I strive to create pieces that evoke excitement, convey movement, achieve balance, and stand apart. My work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and is installed in private collections throughout the region.
As the Principal Artist and Education Director at Wired Designs Studio, Inc., my studio team and I teach over forty different workshops in hot, warm, and cold glass, metalsmithing, mixed media, and design. I am an adjunct faculty member at The Southwest School of Art and Craft in San Antonio, and am a visiting instructor at The Pittsburgh Glass Center, The Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, and the Glascraft Expo.
